Electro-Acoustic Dubcology IV

Electro-Acoustic Dubcology IV      For this installation, I recorded a brief soundwalk of downtown Lake Forest, including the Metra station, Market Square and Open Lands Park. These recording offer a brief description of the sonic character of Down Town Lake Forest. Through electro-acoustic process, I have made a version of this experience and will install it at Re-Invent in a Zen-like garden of speakers and electronics. This piece explores the relationship between sound and space, where I create a new space from familiar sounds.
